Welcome to the chilly fall temperatures of Autumn! At least here in Iowa, I’m starting to feel like we skipped entirely over Fall and are moving quickly toward Winter. With record rainfall in many parts of Iowa (and an entirely unexpected snowfall long before the leaves had finished changing colors!), it’s feeling like my traditional “Fall” season is quickly buzzing by this year. I mean, did you hear about the problems a Minnesota city is having with “inebriated birds” from the early frosting this year?
Either way, I’m going to squeeze out as much Fall fun as I possibly can before the snow and ice sets in for the year. One way to do that is to spend some time enjoying the beautifully colored trees at the local parks. Another way is to head out on my annual tradition to hit the Iowa Pumpkin Patches for some Iowa pumpkin patch photos – and in this case, it’s the Heartland Farms patch.
I hope these Iowa fall photos help prolong those autumnal feelings before we slide into those frigid months.
