How do I get a session with you?
That’s simple! Just send me an e-mail listed on the Contact page. I’ll reply within 2 business days, and we can talk about what you’d like.

What types of photography do you do?
I think there’s beauty in everything around us! Whether that be the love of an engaged couple, the stunning beauty of a solo portrait, the comfort of a family member’s embrace, or even just the amazing aspect of human design that’s available in our day-to-day purchases! With that in mind, I do senior sessions, portrait sessions, engagement sessions, weddings, family photos, business portraits, product placement photos, and more! However, as much as I love newborns, I do not do newborn sessions.

What areas do you work in?
I work in the majority of areas in Central Iowa, Northeastern Iowa, and everywhere in between! This means I’m a Cedar Falls photographer, Ames photographer, Des Moines photographer, Tripoli photographer, and many, many more! If you want to know if I could come to your area, just send me an e-mail.

How long does it take to get my photos back?
It depends on how busy I am! I love my photography, and if I could, I’d spend all day editing and taking photos, but unfortunately, real life gets in the way sometimes. Sometimes photos have been given to clients within a week, and sometimes it has taken three weeks. At no time will it take more than four weeks for you to receive your photos. If you need a specific date, please request this while setting up your appointment, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

How can I pay?
At this moment, all sessions for Metamorphic Photography can have payments made via check or cash. We can work out other methods if need be.

How much editing will you do?
I believe in providing photos where you, well, still look like you! For that reason, I provide minimal “photoshopping”. I’ll remove temporary annoyances (blemishes, that annoying wisp of hair in your face from how you’re posed, etc.), but I won’t remove 15 inches off your waist. You are gorgeous exactly how you are, and I want my photos to showcase that. All photos, however, will be fulled edited for color correction, optimal cropping, and to ensure that you’re the focus of any image I take.

How will my photos be given to me?
To save you time and money, your photos will be given to you on a DVD. Photos will be fully edited, and if any filters are applied (black and white, hazy glows), the non-filtered version will be included as well. This DVD can be mailed to you if need be. Prints can be ordered upon request, and if you prefer a different method of delivery, we’ll see what we can work out.

What if the weather is bad the day of my appointment?
If the weather is bad, we can reschedule free-of-charge. Neither of us can control the weather (unfortunately!), so we have to work around Mother Nature as best as possible.
